Attention: Federal Regulations requires much of the kerosene sold in the United States to include small amounts of red dye. DuraHeat warranties are not affected by the use of this red fuel as long as it is 1-K kerosene.

Although you may find the clear 1-K kerosene costs slightly more than 1-K red, we recommend it's use where it is available. It is much easier to recognize impurities (such as gasoline) in the clear kerosene.
